Watch our website regularly for school newsletters and the DK Calendar.  As well, updates are in progress regarding the Code of Conduct (expectations) and handbook of information.

These changes are effective Monday, September 10th.
Start Time: 8:45 am – Warning Bell
Classes start at 8:50 am
Dismissal – Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri – 3:11 pm  (no change)
WEDNESDAYS – 2:12 PM

Please note:  total instructional time has not changed….it has just shifted.

Tues. Sept. 4th – First Day for GRADE 7 ONLY – 9:00 am to 11:00 am
Wed. Sept. 5th – ALL STUDENTS attend from 9:00 am to 3:11 pm
Students should arrive by about 8:50 am so that they have time to find their homeroom class.  Class lists will be posted at various locations around the school —

The library is no longer signing out books.  All library books should be returned as soon as possible.  Textbooks should be returned to the library as soon as the exam for that course is finished.
The 2011/2012 yearbook is on sale at the office:  $65
If your child is going to be absent on June 28th and you would like your child’s report card mailed to you,

Click on the Final Exam Schedule 2012 to see when your child (in Grade 8 or 9) has exams.  You will need to know your child’s teachers and schedule.  Please call your child’s teacher(s) or the school for additional help.  (250-785-8378)

Thursday, May 3rd – Report Cards are being handed out in TAG at the end of the day
Monday, May 7th – course selection forms to the office for current grade 7 and 8 students

Course selection forms are going out in TAG today, Thursday, May 3rd.  These need to be reviewed by parents and returned to the TAG teacher as soon as possible…preferably by Monday, May 7th.  (They may be handed in later;
