Dr. Kearney Middle School operates under the Ministry of Education policy Tobacco-Free Schools. This policy is an extension of the Tobacco Control Act, which deems any use of tobacco on school grounds at any time, to be against the law. This applies to all types of tobacco, not just cigarettes.

Parents/Guardians are encouraged to read the following letter from Assistant Superintendent Stephen Petrucci regarding this policy. Our school has also sent out this letter via our parent email list.
