Volleyball Practice Dates:

• Gr 8/9 Girls is Monday 5-6:30 and Wednesday at 3:30 – 5
• Gr 8/9 Boys is Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 to 5
• Gr. 7 is Monday 3:30 to 5 and Wednesday at 5 to 6:30

DKAP update

TAG/DKAP: 

We are now at $4596.50 for the second week of Purdy’s! Make sure that you tell your TAG kids to fill out the “additional information” section when someone orders with the students name and TAG teacher so that they can be entered into the draw! 

 Week 2 -Friday’s winners for the Purdy’s Draw are:

Kearney Clothing: Hurlee Thomas +10 points for Blue house

$25 gift certificate: Mallory MacLean +10 points for Blue house

Walk for Wenjack has been awesome! Ms. Bennett’s TAG came in first for 600km’s walked and has earned themselves an icecream cake from Haley and Sylvia! They have also earned 50 points for Green House!

Mr. Ginn’s TAG came in 2nd and has also earned an Ice Cream cake and 50 points for Blue House!

3rd place is still up for grabs!!!! Ice Cream and 50 house points!

4th, 5th, 6th place will get 20 points for their House.

Any TAG that hands in a completed 600 km sheet by Wednesday 3:30pm will receive 10 points for their house. 

*Please leave your Orange Shirt decor up for October. It leads directly into the Chanie Wenjack topics for this month.

• There will be a pumpkin carving contest the last week of October. 

• Friday Oct. 29th will be a costume parade and contest. Posters with points are hung around the school.
