Important Information
- Purdys Fundraiser – To date, we have reached about 30% of our fundraising goal. The fundraiser will run until November 15, 2022. Orders should arrive at the school on or about December 1, 2022. If you are interested in supporting DKMS through our Purdys Fundraiser please visit: https://fundraising.purdys.com/773778-96083. We have weekly prizes for the students / classes that sell. If you have any questions, please contact Barb at the office.
- Absences – to verify a child’s absence, please call Barb Chaput at 250 785 8378 or email her at bchaput@prn.bc.ca
- Breakfast Program – Beginning on October 20, breakfast will be available at the school for those who need it. Breakfast will be served in the yak shack, beginning at 8:15 and those who want to access the program will have to come to the yak shack doors and sign in. There will be grab-and-go options for bus students that don’t show up until later.
- Halloween – October 31, 2022. Students are encouraged to wear school appropriate costumes on the 31st. Each student wearing a costume will earn house points. We will also be having a costume contest for prizes. Categories are Best Overall per Grade Level, Best Group, Best Teacher, and Most Creative.Costumes may have a mask but it must be taken off while in the hallways or if requested by a teacher during class time. No weapons of any sort (real or fake).
- Decades Day – November 18, 2022. Dress like you’re from another decade for house points!
