If you are interested in supporting DKMS through our Purdys Fundraiser please visit: https://fundraising.purdys.com/773778-96083. We have prizes for the students / classes that sell. In order to give a student / class credit, when you fill out the online order form, type the first and last name of the student as well as their TAG teacher or number into the additional information box. If you have any questions, please contact Barb at the office.

Absences – to verify a child’s absence, please call Barb Chaput at 250 785 8378 or email her at bchaput@prn.bc.ca

School Clothing Orders – If you’re interested in ordering school clothing for your child (or anybody really) please visit this link: https://dkmsfall2022.itemorder.com/shop/home/. Orders must be placed by October 20, 2022, and should arrive in time for the winter break.

Walk for Wenjack Week – The week of October 17, 2022, will be Walk for Wenjack week. Each house has been given a dedicated day of the week and on that day those TAGs will go out to the running track to complete 1 km per student. The goal is to reach the 600 km that Chanie Wenjack aimed to walk as a school community.

Anything but a Backpack Day – October 20, 2022. Students are encouraged to get creative and come up with an alternative to using a backpack on this day in exchange for some house points. Whatever students choose to bring must be able to fit in a locker.

Breakfast Program – Beginning on October 20, breakfast will be available at the school for those who need it. Breakfast will be served in the yak shack, beginning at 8:15 and those who want to access the program will have to come to the yak shack doors and sign in. There will be grab-and-go options for bus students that don’t show up until later.

Halloween – October 31, 2022. The full details on Halloween are still being finalized by the Kearney Crew. That being said, it is safe to assume that wearing costumes on Halloween will earn some house points!
