Good day Dr. Kearney Families,
We are busy getting ready to welcome all the students back to school next week. We have a different schedule for orientation week. We do have few special events planned next week and I wanted to make sure everyone is aware. We are looking forward to Welcoming everyone and starting the 2026-2027 school year.
Tuesday, September 8th– First Day for Grade 7 Students
8:20 am: Supervision begins students are welcome to arrive and mingle.
8:40 am: Students will meet in their TAG teachers in the Yak Shack. (Common area in the middle of the school).
11:00 am: Dismissal
Wednesday, September 9th– First day for everyone. Grade 7, 8, and 9.
8:20 am: Supervision begins students are welcome to arrive and mingle.
8:40 am: TAG begins: Tag lists will be posted by the office and in the Yak Shack
11:30 am to 12:00 pm: Lunch
2:05 pm: Dismissal- (Students are dismissed early on Wednesdays all year).
*Please note locker will be assigned on Wednesday so students will have a place to store their personal. Cell phones are expected to be stored in lockers during class time.
Thursday, September 10th– Full day for everyone. Wear Your House Colour
8:20 am: Supervision Begins, Hotdog BBQ lunch.
12:10 to 12:40 pm: Lunch
3:05 pm: Dismissal- (usual dismissal time Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday all year).
Friday, September 11th– Full Day: Course Calendar Walk Through
8:20 am: Supervision Begins
8:40 am: TAG Begins
11:15 to 11:45 am: Lunch
3:05 pm: Dismissal
