If you are interested in supporting DKMS through our Purdys Fundraiser please visit: We have prizes for the students / classes that sell. Strength First Food Drive – Our Strength First program is collecting non-perishable food donations on behalf of the Salvation Army from October 11 – 14. They will be circulating to TAGs each morning this week to collect any donations that have been brought in.
Walk for Wenjack Week – The week of October 17, 2022, will be Walk for Wenjack week. Each house has been given a dedicated day of the week and on that day those TAGs will go out to the running track to complete 1 km per student. The goal is to reach the 600 km that Chanie Wenjack aimed to walk as a school community.
Anything but a Backpack Day – October 20, 2022. Students are encouraged to get creative and come up with an alternative to using a backpack on this day in exchange for some house points. Whatever students choose to bring must be able to fit in a locker.
Halloween – October 31, 2022. The full details on Halloween are still being finalized by the Kearney Crew. That being said, it is safe to assume that wearing costumes on Halloween will earn some house points!
