The following letter regarding the legalization of cannabis in British Columbia was sent to all parents yesterday via email.

What is the FSA?
The Foundation Skills Assessment (FSA) is a required set of reading, writing, and numeracy assessments administered to BC students every year in Grades 4 and 7. They are the first two of four provincial assessments: Grade 4 FSA,

School photos will take place on Thursday September 20th. Picture order forms were sent home with students during the first week of school.
We would also like to invite all parents/guardians and students to our Fall Open House on Wednesday September 19th from 6:00-7:00 pm.  Our first PAC meetings will follow the open house.

Dr. Kearney parents are invited to an engaging presentation from Scott Graham!

Course change request forms will be available in TAG on Monday September 10th. Students will need to complete the request form and have it signed by a parent/guardian. Every effort is made to enrol students in electives of their choice.

What a great day with the Grade 7 students!
Wednesday -  Grade 7-9 students will attend from 8:45 – 2:09 pm.

School buses will depart DKMS at 3:15.
Students will need to bring a lunch. Our canteen will not be available until Thursday.

The first day for Grade 7 students will be on Tuesday, September 4th  8:45 – 11:00 am. Our Grade 9 WEB Leaders have an exciting morning planned for the new Grade 7s.

DKMS Office will be closed from July 2nd – August 26th.
Monday August 27th: School office will be open 1:00 – 3:00 pm.
