MyEdBC Portal Access

We have activated the MyEdBC Family/Parent portal this afternoon to give parents/guardians the ability to access the site before report cards are issued. Our intention is to have any password and login issues resolved prior to issuing the report cards.

MyEdBC Family/Parent Portal — Activation Day

SD 60 Technology Services will be activating the MyEdBC Family/Parent portal this afternoon. If you have an active email address registered with the school and you are the student’s primary contact, you should receive an email from  sysadmin@myeducation.gov.bc.ca. 
The email will include a temporary password allowing you access to the portal.

Cookie Dough Orders Have Arrived!

All students who ordered cookie dough, the orders are in and will be ready for pick up Friday, November 17 from 3:11-4:30.
If there are any missing or broken items, they must be returned with the order sheet (no order sheet needed for online orders) by November 27th.

Letter from Minister of Education: New Curriculum & Graduation Program

The attached letter from Minister of Education, Rob Fleming, discusses changes to the Grade 10-12 new curriculum implementation timeline as well as information regarding the new Provincial Literacy Assessment and Provincial Numeracy Assessment.
How will this change affect Grade 9 students: 
“Students currently in Grade 9 and younger will continue their learning with the new curriculum throughout their graduation years.

Charlie’s Chocolate Factory Fundraiser!

Charlie’s Chocolate Factory is our major school fundraiser this year. The money earned goes towards our student activities such as the Winter Luncheon for students, Winter & Spring Fun Days and student recognition.
FREE SAMPLES: We have received samples from Charlie’s of their milk and dark chocolate – parents are welcome to stop in for a taste test.

Reminder – Picture Retakes

Picture retakes will take place on Friday November 3rd. If you have purchased pictures and would like retakes, bring the pictures back to the school for Friday.
