Just a reminder that the deadline for collecting transportation forms and fees at DKMS is Friday, June 19th.  Fees and forms can go to the board office until July 10th.

Here are the school supply lists for 2015/2016.  These lists are prepared for School Start but you do not have to order supplies through them.  If you are ordering through School Start, please note the deadlines

On Tuesday, June 2nd we will be having our second lockdown drill.  This one will take place during the common lunch.
We have spoken with the RCMP and district safe schools coordinator regarding the protocols of a lockdown during unstructured time.  On Monday we met with all students and discussed where they should go and what should they do during the lockdown drill at lunch.

Over the next few months we will be practicing fire and lockdown drills.  Teachers will review these procedures with the students.  Please make sure that your child has and wears footwear when in the school.

The school is having grade meetings this week to review some expectations.  As we head into the warmer months, we begin to experience some difficulties in these areas.
