• March PAC Meeting Cancelled

    This month’s PAC meeting scheduled for Thursday, March 16th has been cancelled.
    The next PAC meeting will be on Thursday, April 26th at 7:00 pm in the library.  We hope to see you there.

  • Bridge Builders – Win Regional Competition


    In February DKMS had a school-wide bridge building contest.  Bridges were built using spaghetti and glue guns.  The bridges had to have a span of at least 50 cm and hold a weight of 1 kg for 1 minute.

  • Variance Information & 2012/13 Proposed Calendar

    If you do not live in the catchment area of a school and would like to register in that school or if you would like more information about variances, please read this letter from the board office.

  • PAC Meeting — Change of Dates

    The PAC meeting originally scheduled for this Thursday, February 23rd, has been rescheduled for Thursday, March 15th. It will be in the school’s library and will start at 7:00 pm.

  • Grade 7 FSA Information

    Students in Grade 7 will be writing FSA (Foundation Skills Assessment) tests between Monday, January 16th and Friday, February 24th.  The exact schedule has not yet been determined.  Because of the teachers’ strike, administration and exempt staff will be supervising the exams.

  • Purdy’s Update

    Thank you to everyone for supporting the school by purchasing Purdy’s chocolates.  Approximately $34,000 worth of chocolate was ordered–the funds raised for student activities is about $10,000.  Thank you to students and parents who helped to organize the orders.  All orders have been picked up.  There are extra boxes of chocolates on sale at the office for $15.
