Changes in the day:
Classrooms will be open at 8:30.  Students are to go to classrooms as soon as they are at school.
There will no longer be a recess break.  Students will be allowed to eat snacks from home during morning classes when needed.

We are excited to be offering two new electives for semester 2.
Advanced Shop (with Ms. Ouellette) – grade 8 and 9
Rock Band (with Ms. Gunn) – grade 9
Any students who are interested need to talk to Ms.

As per the letter sent out earlier from the district office, school is closed except for students of essential workers.  Supervision of these students will be provided and will include some gym time and tutorial time,

-November 29 sand 30 – grade 9  transition meetings:  counsellors from NPSS will be continuing their discussion around transition to the high school with the grade 9 classes
-December 1, 3 – Shane Roy will be presenting to careers classes regarding trades programs.

 
Yearbooks are on sale.  If you order by Friday, you can have your yearbook personalized with your name and four free icons.  Also, if you order by Friday, the cost is $50 per book.
 

Reflections for report cards will be due on Monday, November 22, 2021.  These are to be completed in TAG. 

Early dismissal on Wednesday and Thursday.  Parents can book with teachers for interview times. 

Students need to sign up for enrichment by Friday. 

Parent-Teacher interview days are fast approaching. We invite all parents/guardians to connect with your child’s teacher(s) on one of the following days:

Talent show auditions are happening … Next audition day is Tuesday, November 23 during enrichment in the drama room!  Sign up sheets are in the drama room and in the band room.
