The City of Fort St. John and region are excited to host the BC Winter Games February 20-23. School District 60 is a partner group in this substantial community initiative and will be supporting the games through the use of our facilities and volunteers.
Dear Parents/Guardians:
Due to unavoidable circumstances, our photographer is unable to make it to Dr. Kearney today. Unfortunately, we will have to postpone student photo day. Once we have a new picture day arranged, we will email you and update our website and social media.
The DKMS staff invites all our parents & guardians to our Back To School Open House on Tuesday September 17th, 6:00-7:00 pm. This is a great opportunity to meet your child’s teachers and tour the school!
We hope you have had a great summer vacation! Our staff is looking forward to another exciting year at DKMS.
Here is a breakdown of how this week is going to look:
Tuesday September 3rd: Grade 7 students only.
Summer Break & First Week in September
The school office will be closed from July 2nd – August 26th, re-opening on Tuesday August 27th.
Tuesday August 27th – Friday August 30th: School office will be open 9:00 – 3:00pm.
Starting in September 2019 School District #60 will be implementing a digital platform, ActivityRight, for permission forms and fee collection. Parents/Guardians will be able to view and approve permission forms online, as well as submit an online payment.

Our next PAC meeting is on Tuesday April 16th at 6:30 in the library. If you ordered Purdy’s Chocolates, your orders will be available for pick up on Wednesday April 17th.
