The Leadership 9 class is coordinating a school-wide Purdy’s Chocolates fundraiser.  Funds will go towards supporting various student activities.

The photographer will return to DKMS on Thursday, November 3rd.  Students who did not have their pictures taken in September and students who need re-takes can have their pictures taken.  Students pay the photographer directly and must have their original package with them if they want re-takes.

Set up a daily homework routine. Designate a homework area away from distractions like the television and Internet,

Ms. Brekkas would like to give a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who supported the Terry Fox Run.  The school raised approximately $1591 which is very close to an average of $3 per student!  Well done!

On Friday, Sept. 23 WWP forms were given out to all grade 7 students except those in Mr. Wilson’s class.  Mr. Wilson’s class will receive the forms on Monday, Sept. 26.

There will be a short meeting at 6:30 pm on Tues.

The first PAC meeting will be on Thurs. Oct. 27th at 7:00 pm in the library.
Please come out and support the students and staff at our school.

The students will participate in the Terry Fox Run on Friday, September 23rd.  There will be an alternate schedule for classes that day, but school will still start at 9:00 am and end at 3:11 pm.
